This early 20th century postcard image of Rome shows a bustling scene of sidewalk traffic and a trolley car. The original message on the underside of this card reads,
“Dear Bess, Many thanks for the lovely card. We had lovely weather for the pass week but clouded up and ruin today. I been busy cleaning house and rakeing leves. My pretty flowers are all froze now. I was in hope it would stay nice as I have a lot of curtains to do up. Come again soon. Your Pal, Jennie Staples.”
