Seneca Lake

This colorful early 20th century image shows the greens and blues of Seneca Lake and its surrounding hillsides in full summer.

Rich colors make for a lovely sunset image of boats on Seneca Lake. From a postcard dated 1907. The forlorn message on the back of the card reads,

“Hello Lena are you dead or got the writers cramp. I have wrote to you and had no ans. Frances.”

This card was originally addressed to Mrs. D. A. Biss in Saratoga Springs. This image makes a nice companion to Stomping Ground Item #USNYSNL-001.
