Main Street, Palmyra, NY

$13.95

This scene of Palmyra's main business block is striking in how similar it looks to the Palmyra of today. Many of the old awnings have come down, and the horses have been replaced by automobiles, but most of these historic buildings still stand, including the building that once housed the historic Grandin print shop.

"Mormon Hill Where Joseph Smith dug up the Golden Plates," Palmyra, N.Y.

$13.95

The picture of Hill Cumorah shown here is more than 100 years old. The hill is shown with fewer trees than adorn its slopes today. A visitor's center is now located at the base of the hill and a statue of the Angel Moroni is located near the top. It is interesting to see how this spot, sacred to Latter Day Saints, has changed over the many decades since this image was first created.
